Privacy notice

Updated 24 October 2026

Daily Briefing is a private personal-assistant configuration for its owner. This public website describes that configuration; it does not provide public account registration or collect Google sign-in credentials.

Google information accessed

With the owner's consent, the integration uses read-only Gmail and Google Calendar access. Relevant data can include message subjects, senders, recipients, dates, message and thread content, and calendar event titles, descriptions, participants and times. The Google account email identifies the authorised account.

Purpose and limits

The information is used to prepare personal briefings and answer the owner's requests about their mail and calendar, including identifying actions, deadlines, conflicts and preparation. The current Google connector cannot send messages, change labels or read status, delete mail, or create, edit or delete calendar events. It does not access Google Drive or the owner's password manager.

Processing and service providers

Authorised information is retrieved through Google APIs and processed by the owner's private assistant. Relevant mail, calendar information and generated output may also be processed through the owner's approved OpenAI model route. Cloud-provider handling is governed by the selected service, account settings and applicable terms. This connector does not train AI models or use Google data for advertising or sale.

When phone alerts are enabled, a generic briefing-ready or attention-required notification can pass through a notification delivery provider and Apple Push Notification service. Notification routing information is needed for delivery. The briefing notification is designed to keep email and calendar content off the lock screen.

Storage and retention

Google remains the source of the original mail and calendar information. Revocable OAuth credentials are held in a protected local keyring used by the connector. Google passwords are entered directly through Google's sign-in screens.

Briefings, conversation history and tool results may remain in the owner's private assistant state and backups until removed under the owner's retention choices. Cloud-provider retention depends on the selected account and service settings. This notice does not promise a retention period that has not been configured.

Access, revocation and deletion

The owner can review or revoke access at Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorised retrieval but does not automatically remove information already retained in local history, backups or provider systems. The owner manages those copies separately through the relevant system's controls.

Google API Limited Use

Daily Briefing's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is used for the specific personal-assistant features authorised by the owner.

This website and contact

These pages contain no account sign-in, form, advertising tracker or analytics script. The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information to serve and secure the website. The integration is maintained by its sole owner; questions about the owner's configuration or retained data should be directed to that owner through an existing private contact channel.
